As well as the standard software which comes with your computer we have installed AVG 2012  and Ad-Aware free antivirus we find that both these products work well together and do not conflict both should update automatically but is very simple to manually update if in doubt. Other free software we have added is 7-Zip manager a free Zipping/Unzipping software. Windows live mail an e-mail programme sucessor to Outlook express also Widows mesh which you can use to backup files and folders without any problems This works by syncronising your files with your sky drive this drive also has space to save  photos etc.
