Gorst Barn was bought in 1989 from the Bradburn bros who were a company who owned and ran Garages in the West Midlands they purchased it in 1976 from the Stokesay Estate  and JB Griffiths had worked it for some years on a contract basis. It runs to 150 acres in total with 125 acre of arable land now split into 6 fields 3 of which about 55 acres are the Cotswold like brash the remainder is the medium light loam overlying limestone. There is about 20 acres of grazing and 5 acres of woodland
